Mrs. DeKeyser began her professional school counseling career at Whitmore Lake High School in the fall of 2006. She earned her B.A. from Hillsdale College, her M.A.T. from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, and her M.Ed. in School Counseling from Grand Valley State University. Prior to becoming the school counselor, Mrs. DeKeyser taught high school English and French. Mrs. DeKeyser is a member of the American School Counselor Association, the Michigan School Counselor Association, and the Michigan College Access Network. When she’s not at work, Mrs. DeKeyser enjoys spending time with her family.
Ms. Henderson is the school social worker at Whitmore Lake Middle/High School. She grew up in Clarkston, Michigan and graduated from Adrian College with a double major in History and Criminal Justice with a focus on rehabilitation and law. She played varsity soccer while attending both Clarkston High School and Adrian College. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work and was granted a Mary Barron Scholarship for excellence in social work from Michigan State University. She has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient substance abuse and domestic violence treatment, foster care, school systems and is on the board of directors at a non-profit organization that provides services for developmentally disabled adults. In her free time she plays co-ed sports on local recreation leagues, reads, and spends time outdoors with her friends, family, and puppy, Pavlov.
Linda Lupi is a lifelong community member. Linda attended Whitmore Lake Public Schools and Eastern Michigan University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Linda served as Trustee on the Northfield Township Board for 16 years. She also served on the Northfield Township Planning Commission for several years. Linda currently serves on the Northfield’s Human Services and People’s Express boards and is a board member for the Whitmore Lake Rod and Gun Club. After a career as a probation officer, Linda is Dean of Students for Whitmore Lake Middle and High School.
Mrs. Timmins started as a Media Tech in the Whitmore Lake Middle School Library and then moved on to Administrative Assistant in both the Middle School and the High School. She has volunteered her time and talent to a variety of organizations, including Girl Scouts, Cheers, and the Band Parents Association. She enjoys time spent with her family, pets, gardening, kayaking and other outdoor activities.
