Kathy DeKeyser
School Counselor
Mrs. DeKeyser began her professional school counseling career at Whitmore Lake High School in the fall of 2006. She earned her B.A. from Hillsdale College, her M.A.T. from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, and her Ed.M. from Grand Valley State University. Prior to becoming the school counselor, Mrs. DeKeyser taught high school English and French. Mrs. DeKeyser is a member of the American School Counselor Association, the Michigan School Counselor Association, and the Michigan College Access Network. When she's not at work, Mrs. DeKeyser enjoys spending time with her family.
Molly Bartley
Social Worker
Mrs. Bartley began her work as the Middle and High School Social Worker at Whitmore Lake Public Schools after earning her degree in social work from Michigan State University. A graduate of Pinckney High School, she was drawn to WLPS by the district’s warm, welcoming school community. As a therapist and social worker, Mrs. Bartley brings warmth, authenticity, and a strong commitment to supporting students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being. Her background in both education and clinical practice allows her to approach student needs with empathy and care. When she’s not at work, Mrs. Bartley enjoys spending time with her family.
Sheila Timmins
Administrative Assistant
Mrs. Timmins started as a Media Tech in the Whitmore Lake Middle School Library and then moved on to Administrative Assistant in both the Middle School and the High School. She has volunteered her time and talent to a variety of organizations including Girl Scouts, Cheers, and the Band Parents Association. She enjoys time spent with her family, pets, gardening, kayaking and other outdoor activities.
