New Student Registration

Student Handbook
The Student Handbook contains information on everything WLES you could ever want to know! The Handbook PDF explains attendance, student behavior expectations, building use and closing rules, teacher and parent communication outlines, discipline guidelines, extracurricular information, and so much more. You can view and download the entire handbook below. We recommend saving to your desktop or an easy-to-access place where you can view it when you need questions answered at a moment’s notice.
Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports (PBIS) Brochure

OK2SAY allows anyone to confidentially report tips on criminal activities or potential harm directed at Michigan students, school employees, or schools.

Message From the Principal
Welcome to Whitmore Lake Elementary School, a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where children are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
At Whitmore Lake Elementary, we are proud to be part of a supportive and engaged community. Our dedicated staff works to provide a personalized learning environment for all of our students. Our families are deeply committed to their children's education. All of these aspects, along with a small school environment, give our students access to a unique education.
It is my great honor to serve as the principal of this incredible school. I bring over 20 years of experience as an educator. I have served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and school leader. Supporting teachers, working with the community and improving academics are all continuous goals of mine. I believe that every child can achieve great things when they are known, valued, and challenged to do their best.
