Thanks for the patience and support as we adjust our schedule next week for the vaccine and booster clinic at Whitmore Lake High School. As a reminder, Tuesday, November 23 will be a half day for Kindergarten-12th grade. Preschool will stay on their normal full-day schedule. The first doses will be administered on Tuesday, November 23, from 12 p.m.-3 p.m. and second doses will be given on Thursday, December 16, from 12 p.m.-3 p.m. This free walk-in clinic is available to anyone ages 5 and up. No appointments required. If you plan on bringing your child(ren), filling this form out in advance is helpful.
If you are looking for a different type of drama than that caused by unexpected half-days, I encourage you to head to the WLHS theater this weekend for the WLHS Drama Club production, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland! Opening night is tonight at 7 p.m. Or you can catch a show on Saturday at 7 p.m. or Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets available at the door are $5 for students, staff and seniors and $7 for general admission. And while you are at it, put the WLMS Drama Club production of Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS on your calendar. It will be December 3 and December 4 at 7 p.m. and December 5 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door of the Whitmore Lake High School theater. Come and see our students showcase their hard work and talent.
COVID has presented many challenges, making almost everything more difficult. But, like any challenges they encounter, our students and staff continue to overcome them and do good work. This is evident in the classrooms, will be evident on the stage, and evident in the Fall sports recap our Athletic Director, Brad McCormack, recently shared with our Board of Education that I wanted to share with our school community.
