Whitmore Lake Community Pool
The WL Community Aquatic facility opened in August 2007. Located on the south side of Whitmore Lake High School, this 228,000-gallon regulation-sized swimming pool features six 25-yard lanes with starting blocks, two diving boards and a wading pool with ramp entry. With a water temp averaging 81 degrees, the WL Community Aquatic facility is a great place to enjoy aquatic activities!
The facility includes men and women’s locker rooms equipped with lockers, restrooms, sinks and showers, and a family locker room with private changing/shower rooms for families with little ones.
The WL Community Pool is home to the WLCR Waves Swim and Dive Club with competitions at all levels. It is also home of the Whitmore Lake High School Trojan Swim Teams. The WL Community Pool also offers fitness classes, open swim, lap swim, and lessons for all ages throughout the week.

Open Swim is FREE for in-district residents with a District Open Swim Membership.

Looking for a fun and unique place to have your next celebration? Rent one of our multipurpose rooms during weekend open swim hours to host your own pool party! You can decorate it to your party theme, use the modest kitchen facility, and enjoy the open space to accommodate your guests.
- $125 for 2 hours (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm)
- Includes 10 swimmers (+$2 for each additional swimmer)
- 6 tables
- 30 chairs
- Direct entrance to pool (Side B only)
- Kitchenette (Side B only)
First rental of the day will be Side B, second rental of the day will be Side A.
