A Culture of Next-Level Education Readiness

Aside from the core curriculum, Whitmore Lake Middle and High School offers a list of unique course offerings that create a culture of next-level education readiness tailored to each student’s individual interests. Spanning from general education to advanced placement, we work to meet the educational needs and desires of many types of students. Middle school students operate in the same building as the high school students and have access to courses and areas where high school students are present. This lends to the entire culture of inclusivity and allows middle school students to be better prepared when entering high school.

Year after year, Whitmore Lake High School continues to watch its graduates become college enrollees at the top Michigan colleges and universities, including the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Central Michigan University, Grand Valley State University, and Eastern Michigan University, and Washtenaw Community College. In fact, our graduation rate of 2014 was 97% and our students were awarded over $700,000 in scholarships last year.
