WLHS 2010 GRADS WHO WENT TO COLLEGE WITH THE HELP OF COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIPS
It would indeed be sad if some of our good Whitmore Lake kids could not go to college because they happen to graduate in the year
2011 which has become the toughest economy since their great grandparents were young. It is scary to realize that this could happen to our kids!
BUT YOU CAN HELP!
Would you like to tell a fine, young person from Whitmore Lake that you are behind them as they make the leap from our small, supportive community to the big world of a college/university education?
Would you like to say “Good Job!” to these great kids who have worked hard on academics, clubs, sports, and service to our community?
That is exactly the mission of the Whitmore Lake Community Scholarship Fund.
Last year, working with the community, we were able to send 17 WLHS graduates off to school with scholarships that voiced this message.
