Every year, second graders in Whitmore Lake Elementary School create a model of a community building/area.
This yearly project is a culmination of studies on “community”. The creations are displayed with pride in the lobby of our school.
A variety of materials are used, such as; wood, clay, cardboard, Lego's, construction paper, paint, etc.
This is an enjoyable experience for both parents and students. Students remember them for years to come. The pride in our community really shows through!
