Employment: I have taught for Whitmore Lake Schools since 1970.

Accomplishments: I am one of 134 National Board Certified teachers in the state of Michigan. I am certified as a Middle Childhood Generalist.

Current Professional Activities: I am a co-chairperson of the Elementary Science Committee. I serve on the Elementary School Improvement Team and the District Quality Improvement Committee. I am president of the Whitmore Lake Education Association. I moderate a web based list service for the Michigan Education Association members who are seeking or supporting National Board Certification.

Personal Highlights: I value most my time with my family. I have shared in the raising of 5 stepsons and 1 foster son. I love cooking, camping, fishing and reading. 2003-2004 marks my 34th year of teaching for Whitmore Lake Public Schools.
