Lifeguard Training

Become a lifeguard! Enroll in the Red Cross Lifeguard Training.

 

Participants are required to pass a water skills test the first night of class. Prerequisites are treading water, retrieval of a ten-pound brick from the bottom of the pool and a 500-yard swim (20 lengths). Attendance is required at all classes to attain the 40 hours of class requirement. Class fee is $185.00 and includes the Lifeguard Training Book. 

Classes begin Saturday, March 6th through May 15th.

Class time is divided into two segments:

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the classroom
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the pool
