OPEN/LAP SWIM
EVERYONE MUST shower before entering the pool.
EVERYONE MUST wear a lined swim suit.
Children under 48” or those in lifejackets must be accompanied IN the water by an adult.
No one under 13 is allowed in the deep end or lap lanes until they have passed a Deep End Test.
All life jackets must be US coastguard approved.
Patrons must walk on the deck at all times.
NO FOOD, GUM, CAMERAS Or CELL phones in the pool area.
Swimmers in diapers must wear a swim diaper and/or plastic cover with a swimsuit (available at office).
No running on Diving boards.
Only front flips are allowed off the diving board.
No playing in the diving well.
Whitmore lake pool equipment is for program use only. Lap Swimmers 14 & up may use fins, kick boards, etc….
Lifeguards have the final say in all pool policies.
Please make sure to read through all additional posted pool rules.
Program Registration, Make-up & Refund Policies
All Program Participants NEW & RETURNING MUST sign in the first week.
Registration for current program participants begins a week before open registration.
Classes MUST be paid in full before attending the first class.
Late payments will be assessed a $5 late fee.
ONLY Water Aerobics & Swim club accept registration on a rolling basis and may be pro-rated.
Program registration for all other classes end the week the classes start.
Swim instructors are the ONLY staff who may switch swimmers to different levels.
Please make sure the registered participant meets the class requirements.
We only offer make-ups due to shut down of the pool (chemical imbalance, snow days etc…) and unforeseen circumstances.
Make-ups may only take place if a child can attend a class of the same level provided there are openings and the make-up has been approved by the instructor. A make-up day may also be assigned by the community recreation office. If you are unable to attend a make up session your account will be credited for the next session.
Sorry, we can not offer make-ups for vacations, dr. appointments, schedule conflicts, etc….
Refunds will only be given after the first week of lessons and are contingent upon extenuating circumstances.
