Whitmore Lake Community Recreation offers something for everyone. We are passionate about building community through:
Youth Recreation: camps, clinics, teams, lessons, and fun.
Aquatics: teams, lessons, safety, open play, and lap swim.
Adult Recreaction: softball, basketball, and special community events.
Health & Fitness: Trojan Fit Club classes like yoga, cardio, strength and conditioning, biking, and community events.

You can also visit the WLCR office outside the community pool at Whitmore Lake High School Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Please call 734-449-4461 x 3057 or email wlcrinfo@wlps.net for help outside these hours. We are almost always available!
Community Recreation Special Reminders
WLCR will process full refunds for any programs cancelled by our department. All other cancellations must be made one week before the program begins or first day of practice or Kick Off event. A $5 or 7% processing fee, whichever is greater, will be deducted from the refund amounts. After a program begins, we will only consider a refund with a medical note. A $40 fee will be assessed for checks returned for insufficient funds.
When Whitmore Lake Public Schools are closed due to bad weather, Community Recreation activities are cancelled. Every attempt will be made to reschedule; however, when circumstances prohibit, classes will not be rescheduled.
If inclement weather occurs after school hours or on the weekends, please check the WLCR office recording at 734-449-4461 Ext. 3057 for information.

WLCR Walking Track
Important Walking Track Information
Please check in and out at the Community Recreation Office or with the lifeguard on deck if no one is in the office.
The track is closed when the pool is closed.
The track is closed to the public during high school sporting events held in the gym and during school hours.
The price for using the walking track is $1.00 PER PERSON PER VISIT. Senior Citizens walk for free!

Ann Kehn
Aquatic and Recreation Director
Before joining the WLCR team, Ann spent 13 years as the Aquatic Supervisor at the Health and Fitness Center at WCC. Her role included supervising and mentoring pool staff, teaching Aqua Aerobics, teaching adult swim lessons, supporting Masters Swimming (the best beginner adult sport!) and supporting all aspects of aquatics along with personal training and being a safety lead. In and around the water for most of her life, Ann also supported Pinckney Community Ed by supervising, teaching and coaching for over 25 years. Ann holds many certifications including Certified Pool Operator, US Masters Swim Coach, Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor Trainer, Parkinson’s Disease Instructor and ACSM Personal Trainer. Ann’s ‘people first’ mindset has allowed her to excel in building and maintaining strong relationships, inspiring her employees, and establishing lasting organizational systems. A mother to six kids who live all over the world, Ann loves to travel, hike, camp and open-water swim in her free time. She is excited to join the Whitmore Lake team where she is looking forward to creating a strong, close-knit community.
Kevin LaMont
Athletic and Recreation Coordinator
Kevin is a 2019 graduate of Whitmore Lake High School. He went on to run Track/Cross Country and play Baseball at Adrian College, where he recently graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in sports management. He was a part of the Society of Sports Management club at Adrian College where he was able to volunteer at events such as the 2022 NCAA College Football National Championship, the 2023 NHL All-Star game, and Super Bowl LVII. Since graduating, Kevin has helped coach Track and Cross Country at the High School. Kevin is an avid sports fan who enjoys hanging out with family and friends and running in his free time. Kevin is excited to get to work to make a difference in the community he grew up in.
