Brochures, Applications, and Required Forms

There are a number of forms and applications required for enrollment at the WLPS Early Childhood Center, ranging from health appraisals and photo/video release forms, to student residency questionnaires. We also have brochures for your benefit, to learn more about our individual programs.

Grant Programs

The Early Childhood Center offers two free grant programs for students that qualify – Head Start and the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). If you are interested in either of our free programs, please visit the Washtenaw Preschool website to complete an interest survey. Both programs also require you to complete a two-step application process, where the information you provide will be screened to determine your possible eligibility for either program. You will then be contacted by either the site administrator or by Charlie Basham, the Head Start and GSRP Family Service Worker. If you qualify, you will then set up an appointment to complete an intake interview and provide documentation to verify your eligibility for either program.

If you have any question about these programs, the application process, or how we determine eligibility, please contact Charlie Basham at 734-449-4464 ext. 4001, or charlie.basham@wlps.net.
